AICE Media Studies

 On Tuesday, the 28 I started filming. So first I had to change to a more causal clothing attire. Even though I would only be showing my legs in these scenes. I changed into sweatpants to film my first two scenes. I started off by filming the second scene first. The second scene is the 180 view of the Nike Air-forces. I decide to film this shot in the sun because it gave my shoes great lighting. Additionally, my shoes have a holographic piece and it changes colors with the lighting. I kept retaking my shot because it kept coming out shaky and it had to be smooth. Also, due to the sun it caused there to be a shadow. It was very difficult not to get my shadow while I was shooting. In my opinion, if it has the shadow it may look unprofessional. After, 5 takes I got the perfect one. However, I was directly in the sun the entire time so by the end I was super exhausted and sweaty. The next scene that I filmed was the first scene. The first since is of me walking. First Scene-  During this scene I will be filming my Nike shoes, Pixel Air-forces. The shot will be a close up and tracking me as I am walking. The location of the shot will be in the hallway right outside of Media Studies class. I will additionally be wearing a casual attire (Jeans). Second Scene- The next scene I wanted to include a 180 degree shot around my shoes for my commercial. The color of shoe changes when the sun hits so I will make sure the sun hits. The location of the scene is right outside of the Media Center before the stairs. This shot will be an extreme closeup. I will also be wearing Nike crew socks. Third Scene- The next scene is of me walking down the stairs casually. This will be a close up, tracking shot.  I am doing a Nike commercial. In these commercials, the audience like us in these commercials usually see people doing physical activities. For example, running, walking, or any type of sports.  The people in the commercials wear costumes such as their running shoes, basketball shoes, shirts, shorts, leggings, jackets, and sports bras. The people in the commercials are athletically built, sweaty, and lean. In the commercials you can see there sweat as they workout in the commercials. The score through the commercials are upbeat and quick paced rhythms. They are like this to make the audience feel empowered and ready to get going to be active and take on the day.  The first convention shown in NIKE commercials is first off the the swoosh.  The second convention is the motivational quote “Just Do It”.   Props: Since I decide to produce a Nike shoes comercial, my main props will be Nike shoes. Nike platform Air Force ones and 2 different pairs of Nike running shoes. I will also be using Nike socks.   Costumes : In my commercial I will be wearing nice clothes for my first and second film location. For my first location shot I will be wearing jeans and a t shirt to match the style of shoes. The second shot I will be wearing the same shoes just more formal pants and shirt.  For my group I will be working alone. I will be working alone because I like to be independent. Additionally, I will be working by my self because I can only trust myself to do all the work. Most times people take advantage of my discipline towards work. It makes me feel used and alone. So I decide to work by myself so I do not have to worry. I won’t have to worry about someone not doing there work. I am also working alone because I am comfortable in my skills of getting my work done. I like to my work done appropriately and on time. If I were to work in a group I would not trust the members to help with the project. So therefore, I wanted to work alone. In a way, I have a feeling that I would feel more accomplished if I did all my work by my self. I enjoy my own company so why would I need someone else?  My name is Brianna Reyes. First of all the most important things that makes me feel like me is that I am a twin. I am the oldest twin by 60 seconds. I have 2 younger half siblings. I am a very athletic person. I practice judo. I also run, bike ride, play tennis, paddle board, and kayak. I practice Judo every Tuesday and Thursday and every other Friday. I practice Judo from 5:30 pm to 9:00pm on these days. And I occasionally do everything else on the weekends or when I have free time. I love to read and jornal. I love reading because it transports me into a different world where everything around me goes vague and I get lost in time. It makes me feel like the main character. The types of books that I like to read are books about teenagers. It helps me feel related to and helps me understand I am not alone.
