  Schedule: 3/18/22- 3/21/22 : During these dates the filming will begin. While filming throughout these dates we will film the beginning half of the film. We will try to film at least 15 scenes throughout these two days. 3/23/22- 3/24/22: These are the filming dates for the second and final half of the  film. We will be finish the last 15 scenes throughout these days. 3/25/22- 4/1/22: The editing will begin immediately. Throughout the span of the dates the final touches and decisions will be made here. We will be editing our film on Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut. Script Scene 1 [Soundtrack starts] Angie: That’s when I told him that he needs to be careful with what comes out of his mouth! Lili: Did he insult you? Angie: Not really, but more of an annoying comment.  Aleiah: He should mind his own business for once in a while. [Emma stays silent] Lili: Yeah no because like yesterday I overheard a conversation betwe- Angie: 'Em, you alright? You seem quiet... Emma: My stomach hurts, I’m gonna go to the bathroom. The opening credits of our film will appear in a digital font that appears to be “Typed” into the bottom middle of the screen. Some credits will be put in the setting of the scene shown. For example, there will be a credit on the street, on top of a window, and on walls. ● Title of film : The title of this film will be “One of Us” ● It will be Chiller Font :  Something Like This Style .  ●Titles will all be “Typed” on to the screen. They will come in too the film as being typed and disappear with a fade.  ●Titles will disappear after 2 to 3 seconds. Color : Depending on the color of the scene we will be using Black and White Font.  ·        It will look something like this:  Directed By:  Lilah Brianie ·        The highlighted gray is too emphasize that the font will be in White.   The name of the Studio, Production Company, Film Title, Producer, and Director will be about 4 font sizes larger than the rest.  ·       Ex:  Director:   Lilah Brianie ·       Ex:  Actors: Brianna Reyes

  The title of the movie as well as the title of the production company were displayed. Along with these titles actors, directors, and writers were included. During this other important people such a casting directors and, theatrical producers and engineers were introduced. The special effects people and editors came in closer to the end. There were a lot of producers and directors personally listed towards the end again aside from the production company in the very beginning.   The image of the making of the knife glove was prioritized in the opening sequence. This was important because it is the murder weapon used in all the films. The girl running in a night gown in somewhere with a lot of pipes is also prioritized since it is shown for the majority of the opening sequence.   The first two titles displayed were the production company for the movie and credits to the director of the film. Afterwards, the sequence displayed the starring actors of the film. Moreover, credits were given to the composer of the music, costume designer, associate producer, film editor, and production designer. The director of photography, producer, screen player, and director once again was displayed. Finally, it displays what the film was based on.  The images prioritized in this film were pictures of old house with a very gloomy old sensation. Additionally, there were more pictures of house taken from the side. There were about three images of deserted streets and open fields. These give the sensation of suspense and loneliness. In these images displayed there are black parts. On the the black parts get smaller the name of the film is shown.  These images carry the connotation of sadness and loneliness.   The first three titles shown during the opening sequence were the credits to the director, the interviewer, and the one who made the screenplay. Then it displayed who the story writer was and who produced the film. After, it showed the executive producers, the creator of the based-on characters, the director of photography, the production designer, the editor, the visual effect supervisor, who the casting is by, the costume designer, who the music is by, the music supervisor. For last, the various companies and the title of the movie as the ending of the opening sequence.  The images prioritized in the opening sequence are photographs of creepy images that convey a spine-chilling sensation. These images include a comparison of the actual people from the real-life story to the actors who played them in the movie.   The titles that are displayed during the opening sequence are the names of the main actors, as well as the names of two producers.  The images prioritized in the opening sequence are short clips, also known as jump cuts of some different events. For instance, we see clips of a group of people dressed in black gowns with black hats. Moreover, we see clips of voodoo practice and sacrifices, as well as images of animals, which are about to be used for certain rituals. All these clips are mixed and played alternatively throughout the opening sequence.   These shots represent the overview of the film. They are meant to make the audience feel uncomfortable and give them an idea what they are about to see after that opening sequence.   The film is very unsettling and is trying to prove to the audience that the genre of the production is horror, and gore.        To begin with, my group and I decided to use the website called   Art of the Titl e. The link to this website is   https://www.artofthetitle.com . We wanted to utilize this to find many of the conventions in our selected genre, horror. With this website it was much easier to find our genre horror and analyze it. My group and I much rather preferred this website due to its easy availability, smooth controls, organization, and eye-catching set-up. What we did to find three of our title research movies were by, first, searching up horror in the search bar. Then, we scrolled down to find the different films. We only selected the ones that said, “Title Only.” We liked how it gave us a bunch of movies from our genre in one finding. Overall, we thought this website was a bit easier to use and liked   its   arrangement. Furthermore, for the second website we went with one that is called  Watch the Titles . Genre Research: A Quiet Place

-What elements (Conventions) of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have?  The conventions this movie has are pretty diverse. For instance, concerning the camera angles and movements, this film contains a Bird’s Eye View, which makes the characters appear small and weak. However, low angles have also been used throughout the film to focus on certain aspects to let the audience know what is happening. Close up shots have also been used to portray a dramatic effect and a sense of suspense. Additionally, this movie includes a lot of over the shoulder shots that act similarly to a point of view, which makes the viewers see what the characters are looking at as well as their surroundings. Concerning the props, there are missing people signs to show the audience that setting this takes place is abandoned and deserted. ·         Common CAMS, CLAMPS, Sound, and Editing seen in the movie? A common shot in this movie was an over the shoulder shot. In this movie it was cool in because it made the audience able to see the victim getting tortured. A big common mis-scene in this movie is the costume. Specifically the costume of creeper. It’s a black cape and a mask. We also saw the common prop of a phone. The phone was used to make the creepy phone call and to unlock and lock the doors. The common sound used was non-diegetic sound. It created the suspense. The most common editing would be jump cut. It had very fast movement. ·         What elements (conventions) of the genre did the movie and that you like? The elements of the movie that we liked are mostly the props. To be more specific, this movie uses props that portray ’violence', such as a knife, and fake blood.     ·           Common CAMS, CLAMPS, Sound, and Editing seen in the movie?      To begin with, common camera angles and movement in IT CHAPTER 2 were tracking shot, two shot, and low angle. Low angles are the most common. I think this to make the people and environment seem creepier. It gives that sense of horror. Something very common in the movie is costume. First off, Pennywise is wearing a costume. Props such as the red balloons. The most important mis-scene seen in this movie is lighting. The dark shadow lighting is what makes this movie horror. The suspense of not knowing what is in that darkness. The sound in particular we caught was the voiceovers. Voiceovers create intensity which build the genre horror. Common editing used in this movie is shot-reverse-shot. ·         What elements (conventions) of the genre did the movie have and that you like?      Elements of the genre that we noticed this movie had were closeups, low angles, the color scheme, tracking shots, and location.
