Final Task

I can’t believe it’s finally over. We are done with our final task. Having this done feels so unrealistic. This project is probably the only project I have been so dedicated too. It also helped me out of my comfort zone to make new friends. And now I think I have these new friends for life. We spent days of editing and filming. It’s finally come to an end. I am so excited for everyone to watch this. I think we did very well on it. And it was our complete and wholesome dedication. I am beyond proud.

Production blog: Final editing touch’s

Today we were all finally reunited. I was so happy because I haven’t seen Angie. Angie left on Thursday of last week. We finally saw her today. Not only were we excited to see her. It was also important she was there so we could make the final edits. We did a lot today. My group member Lili added all the scenes from filming last time to the film. We finally had over time. This was important because our time kept running short. So today, we added the final credits. And the directed by at the finally 2 seconds. Lili also added in sound effects. For example, like screams. We also added scratching and doorbell noise. This helped create the feeling of a horror film. We had to export it and change it a normal video. This was very important because I won’t be here on the due date. I am leaving for vacation and the air became tense in the room because it was compressing in order to send it. I was becoming so stressed. However, after almost 50 mins it worked. I am so proud of my group there a

The film review was very much needed for our group. Yes our film got its point across however it definitely had flaws. For example, our timing was too short. The lighting had to be fixed. We need more footage to make jump cuts from clip back to clip. We need more dialogue. We also needed more context on what was going on. The first thing we did was film. The only way to fix’s these mistakes were to re-film and film new stuff. We mainly only needed me and Lili to film. We meet up on Sunday to film. We filmed me looking for Angie. And Lili looking for a hiding spot to run to. We also filmed mini clips for jump cuts to add the horror sense. We make sure to include things like shadows and the moon. Which was full that night. Full moons show significance in horror movies. We additionally fixed the lighting in the film. This was to be able to see what was occurring. Additionally, we added shadows to what we could see to much of. I think we did a really good job. I am most definitely proud

Production blog: Another plan

Image
So our plans on correcting our work is simple. Let me explain we spent to 2 days editing our film. We got to one minute and 40 seconds. That simply does not work. Angie can not film again because she going on vacation. However, we have to film. We added in all the titles and credits and it looks awesome. We just need to add more clips. We were thinking of filming this upcoming Sunday. I think it might be a little tricky. This is because my mother got mad at me last time for staying so late so I’m going to try to be quick. We need about three scenes. We have a plan for them. First will be me looking for Angie. This bed Angie runs to the backyard. Then, lili. There will also be a clip of lili running to look for hiding spot. We will film her running across her home. And additionally into the bathroom. And her sitting on tub. And we will film Aleiah running also. We thought that all of these would be enough to add more clips in our film.

Production blog: Film Review

I showed our film to my tutor who doesn't really know me well. I did this because I knew that this would create a non bias opinion on our film. This important because we want true critical analysis on our film. I find that this is important in order to make the correct changes. The first thing my tutor said was that the transition may need to be smoother in the speaking parts. She felt like it was to quick instead of a smooth transition. I felt like there definitely parts that we could have definitely worked on the transition editing. The second thing was she wanted to see the names of the actors separated. She felt like it was too much in a list. She would of liked the names when each one was hurt. For example, when Angie was killed. The name would have been on the right corner. I would like that too. The last was the sound. My tutor suggested something interesting. She said that we could slow-mo the sound. This would create an even creepier affect to the film. And the music in ge
