Production blog: Backup plan

On Thursday, 9 December my group and I executed our back up plan. The reason why we had a back up plan is because we could not shoot the scene in the mall. None of my group meets and I had any extra free days to film. Our back up plan was to go to Dairy Queen and a park. This backup plan was very difficult to plan. But in the end it was most likely the best result my group and I were going to have. It also brought us all closer to together. We filmed at Dairy Queen having a fun time and eating blizzards. This was a difficult scene to shoot because it was sunny and hot. Our ice cream was melting and so were we. This is because the last time my group and I filmed it was very cold outside. This time it was hot and we were all wearing sweaters and jeans. We were sweating. Afterwards, we came across a park. And decided to spontaneously film. Our cameraman filmed us walking and talking. And we decided to run around and joke. This created a sense of naturalness in our video. When we looked at the video they seemed so natural and we were all being our selves. If I am being honest it was probably one of the best days I have had. My group and I all had so much fun. It was so great.
