To begin with, my group and I decided to use the website called Art of the Title. The link to this website is https://www.artofthetitle.com. We wanted to utilize this to find many of the conventions in our selected genre, horror. With this website it was much easier to find our genre horror and analyze it. My group and I much rather preferred this website due to its easy availability, smooth controls, organization, and eye-catching set-up. What we did to find three of our title research movies were by, first, searching up horror in the search bar. Then, we scrolled down to find the different films. We only selected the ones that said, “Title Only.” We liked how it gave us a bunch of movies from our genre in one finding. Overall, we thought this website was a bit easier to use and liked its arrangement.

Furthermore, for the second website we went with one that is called Watch the Titles. The link to this website is https://www.watchthetitles.com. We only chose one movie from here. This is because we found it a bit more difficult to find our genre. The website was also more disorganized than the last one. However, we still used it to find the different strategies used in the opening sequence of horror movies. What we did was scroll down to where it said, “Feature film.” Then we looked through the lengthy list of movies that there were and found one that was of the horror genre. We couldn’t find anything when searching up horror because it would only lead us up to links that had nothing to do with our goal. Overall, we found this website more confusing than the last and therefore only chose one film from it.

The heat.

 On Tuesday, the 28 I started filming. So first I had to change to a more causal clothing attire. Even though I would only be showing my legs in these scenes. I changed into sweatpants to film my first two scenes. I started off by filming the second scene first. The second scene is the 180 view of the Nike Air-forces. I decide to film this shot in the sun because it gave my shoes great lighting. Additionally, my shoes have a holographic piece and it changes colors with the lighting. I kept retaking my shot because it kept coming out shaky and it had to be smooth. Also, due to the sun it caused there to be a shadow. It was very difficult not to get my shadow while I was shooting. In my opinion, if it has the shadow it may look unprofessional. After, 5 takes I got the perfect one.
