Production blog: Prop Pickup

 So we have been playing everything so carefully. As mentioned in the past blogs. We have had many mishaps. Group members not able to come to the filming day. We also had the plan because on schedule. But now Aleiah can come the whole day to film. Her Dance team canceled states. This means now we are filming from dawn to dusk. We all have planned to come to Lili’s house at 11:00. However, before there I will be going to Angie’s house. I will be going there around 10:00 to get the props for the film. Angie will be driving our camera man and I to get the props. We will also get food to bring for the others. We will be going to party city. At party city we will buy everything for the film. This includes fake blood, white gown, picture frame and etc. We might have to add some last minute things. However after we are done getting the props we will be heading to Lili’s house to film all together. We are so happy that Aleiah is able to make it. We are thinking that we might have to film one more day but let’s hope we use our time wisely.

The heat.

 On Tuesday, the 28 I started filming. So first I had to change to a more causal clothing attire. Even though I would only be showing my legs in these scenes. I changed into sweatpants to film my first two scenes. I started off by filming the second scene first. The second scene is the 180 view of the Nike Air-forces. I decide to film this shot in the sun because it gave my shoes great lighting. Additionally, my shoes have a holographic piece and it changes colors with the lighting. I kept retaking my shot because it kept coming out shaky and it had to be smooth. Also, due to the sun it caused there to be a shadow. It was very difficult not to get my shadow while I was shooting. In my opinion, if it has the shadow it may look unprofessional. After, 5 takes I got the perfect one. Script Scene 1 [Soundtrack starts] Angie: That’s when I told him that he needs to be careful with what comes out of his mouth! Lili: Did he insult you? Angie: Not really, but more of an annoying comment.  Aleiah: He should mind his own business for once in a while.
