Production blog: Filming Part 2

 After trying on dresses, we went to Macy’s to look for a frame. We looked for about 30 minutes and did not find a frame. So we walked back to Lili’s house and decided to drive to target to get the frame. So, Angie drove us all to target. We were all exhausted from the walk. The car ride was relaxing and quiet. We got to to target we found them immediately. We got two just in case. One was a trial run and the other was real one. Then, we went to get smoothies to refresh ourselves. We got back to Lili’s house feeling rejuvenated. We played a game for awhile. We waited till it got dark and started filming. When we started filming the lights started twitching. It was the scariest thing ever. And there was a time where Lili and I were filming in the bathroom and the light went completely off and we ran so fast. We filmed the outside part with Aleiah. It looked so realistic. I was also running around with a knife and it was like pretty disturbing. The fake blood stained so many things. It stained Angie’s arms when we did her scenes. It also stained Lili’s rug when we filmed the last scene of the film. We had paper towels every where. We did many creepy scenes we were scaring ourselves. We finished filming at 11:30 pm. I had the best time.

The heat.

 On Tuesday, the 28 I started filming. So first I had to change to a more causal clothing attire. Even though I would only be showing my legs in these scenes. I changed into sweatpants to film my first two scenes. I started off by filming the second scene first. The second scene is the 180 view of the Nike Air-forces. I decide to film this shot in the sun because it gave my shoes great lighting. Additionally, my shoes have a holographic piece and it changes colors with the lighting. I kept retaking my shot because it kept coming out shaky and it had to be smooth. Also, due to the sun it caused there to be a shadow. It was very difficult not to get my shadow while I was shooting. In my opinion, if it has the shadow it may look unprofessional. After, 5 takes I got the perfect one. Script Scene 1 [Soundtrack starts] Angie: That’s when I told him that he needs to be careful with what comes out of his mouth! Lili: Did he insult you? Angie: Not really, but more of an annoying comment.  Aleiah: He should mind his own business for once in a while.
