Production blog: Filming part two

March twelfth was our second day filming. It was great. So we set up the time for 4 o’clock. But we both ended up coming at Nicole’s at 5. Because Nicole was super busy and I was late because I missed Nicoles house exit. Anyways, I got to Nicole’s house. We talked and FaceTimed Macaria before filming. Just so we would all know what is going on. We spoke about how we were going to film the bargaining stage. And maybe extra. So Nicole and I filmed me getting ready for the party. Doing the makeup and hair. Getting changed and looking good. Then we filmed me being disappointed. Afterwards, we were done and just talked for awhile. Nicole and I are really good friends. So it is never really a hassle to go to her house or make conversation. I just come over and talk and hangout. Then, we get to filming. It does take a little longer because we forget to do work. But, we soon ended up getting most of the scenes.

  1st Sheet:   The film starts with an establishing shot of the house on which the name of the studio, “Blue Breeze Studios” will appear. That shot that shows a creepy girl slowly walking through one of the windows. Soon after appears a four shot of teenage girls, Angie, Emma, Aleiah and Lili, all hanging out in a bedroom, gossiping, when one of them, Emma, starts to distance herself from her friends and goes to the bathroom. At this moment, the name of the production company, “A Plume Productions Film”pops up on the lower left corner. When in the bathroom, an eye-level shot as well as short cuts will show Emma glitching into her alternate self, portrayed as a creepy girl. Production blog: Changes Made for Film Review Editing

  The film review was very much needed for our group. Yes our film got its point across however it definitely had flaws. For example, our timing was too short. The lighting had to be fixed. We need more footage to make jump cuts from clip back to clip. We need more dialogue. We also needed more context on what was going on. The first thing we did was film. The only way to fix’s these mistakes were to re-film and film new stuff. We mainly only needed me and Lili to film. We meet up on Sunday to film. We filmed me looking for Angie. And Lili looking for a hiding spot to run to. We also filmed mini clips for jump cuts to add the horror sense. We make sure to include things like shadows and the moon. Which was full that night. Full moons show significance in horror movies. We additionally fixed the lighting in the film. This was to be able to see what was occurring. Additionally, we added shadows to what we could see to much of. I think we did a really good job. I am most definitely proud

 After trying on dresses, we went to Macy’s to look for a frame. We looked for about 30 minutes and did not find a frame. So we walked back to Lili’s house and decided to drive to target to get the frame. So, Angie drove us all to target. We were all exhausted from the walk. The car ride was relaxing and quiet. We got to to target we found them immediately. We got two just in case. One was a trial run and the other was real one. Then, we went to get smoothies to refresh ourselves. We got back to Lili’s house feeling rejuvenated. We played a game for awhile. We waited till it got dark and started filming. When we started filming the lights started twitching. It was the scariest thing ever. And there was a time where Lili and I were filming in the bathroom and the light went completely off and we ran so fast. We filmed the outside part with Aleiah.
